The first pair of Blonde silver rings I made in 2011. I used my grandmother Annas' old lace ribbons from a dress tailormade for her during the hard time after second world war in Narvik, northern Norway. It was made for a special week of celebration of the foundation of Narvik, called Vinterfestuka! The dress is worn to pieces by my grandmother Anna, my mother Berit and myself. Now some part of it this story is eternalized in silver.
Lace translates to Blonde in Norwegian, my native language, hence the name.
This collection has a fragile, yet feminine touch to it and the pieces have a light and comfortable feel. Filled with love and traditional heritage this may be one of the most personal gifts from my store. I like the thought of jewelry being inherited and how the story lives on and on...
Blonde Collection comes as Bracelet, Earrings/studs, Ring and Neckless.
